You might be asking yourself who is Blue in the Face and why are they on this page? Well fun little story. When I was working with Kendall over at Slingshot Records (later Screaming Giant), I found this band called "Second Half" that played a ska/punk hybrid. We signed this band to the label and put out their one and only full length. The album didn't actually enter Screaming Giant distribution and was later left for just mail order instead. If you have a copy of the Second Half CD count yourself lucky because it's a rare one.

So after Second Half broke up, two of the guys went off and formed this new school punk band called "Blue in the Face". I connected with them when I started IVM in 2000 and began selling this 1999 full length in my webstore.

The band stuck together for a few years, playing a few shows around Southern California before breaking up for good and going their separate ways.

I figured there might be a few of you who love rare independent stuff and might like some songs on this.
