Released in year 2000 on Substant Recordings, this little known band from Washington really impressed me back in the day. I was carrying albums from Substant Recordings (Logos, One Foot Forward, etc.) in my online IndieVisionMusic.com webstore when I got this album sent to me. For the time period, this album floored me. I loved every part of it and the sound was unlike a lot other stuff in the "scene" around year 2000. Everything was either (bad) pop-punk, ska, or hardcore. This band sort of treaded the lines between a few different genres and the "emo" tag would probably definitely be applied here. RIP Buddy Ruckus.
